Trying to get back into writing so I’m throwing a few of these together just as a brainstorming exercise.
Character Profile: Elf Hunter

Name/Alias: Birth Name: Gunnar Happe. Frequently travels as Bjorn Hertner
Age: Early Thirties
Power Level: Low Enhanced Human (3.5)
Background: German warrior-monk. Pest control expert.
Alignment: Wandering Anti-hero. Associated with the Knights of Terra but not a full member.
Politics: Religious Conservative but not interested in secular politics.
SSH: High Beta
Role the story: Recurring special guest.
Powers:
Can see through lesser illusions. (Experience/ Holy)
Somewhat resistant to occult magic or psychic attacks. (Holy)
Resistant to plant based poisons (acquired immunity)
Skills:
Very skilled knife and sword fighter.
Excellent marksman familiar with most common firearms.
Decent hand to hand combat skills.
Expert on elves and fairy creatures.
Solid knowledge of other supernatural threats. (Werewolves, demons)

Knowledge of zoology and veterinarian medicine.

Weaknesses:
Can be very cocky. Will often take on several times what he can handle.
Not the best at handling mundane human attackers.
Hates elves TOO much.

Tactics: Elf Hunter will always adapt his approach to what he encounters but he is first and foremost a scout and an investigator. His duty is to assess a possible supernatural threat and call in an appropriate response force. That said the man simply HATES elves and if he gets a chance he will try to exterminate an infestation by himself, sometimes getting into trouble in the process. Against other threats he is usually able to stay calm and use caution however his temper does occasionally get the better of him.
Gear: Preferred equipment includes a sword (rapier or sabre) a large calibre revolver pistol and if possible a civilian hunting rifle, However Elf Hunter will adapt his loadout depending on which country he is in. He will also carry several pockets of magical trinkets and petty charms and if possible a small first aid kit.
Motives: A religious zealot who is fighting to save humanity from it’s hidden enemies. Gunnar is a ‘happy warrior’ who has carved out a niche as a specialist and travels the globe solving problems of the pointy-earred kind.
Personality: Erratic yet cheerful. Larger than life and thrilled by the hunt. Always has a ‘can do’ attitude.
Hobbies: Enjoys classical music and French cooking.
Appearance and Costume: Tall and handsome with a medium build. Long flowing glorious metalhead hair. Usually wears a crucifix necklace.
